Singapore Airshow is one of the world’s top 3 aviation and Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibition. Singapore Airshow serves as a global marketplace and networking powerhouse for the world’s aviation community and has always been greeted with tremendous support from industry players, solidly maintaining its position as Asia’s largest and top three aerospace and defence events in the world.
This event was first held in 2008, then 2010, and now continues to be the only event of its kind that brings together heads of the international aviation community. The 2010 Airshow closed the deals worth about US$10b.

Things to note:
1. Travel light
All visitors have to go through security clearance before entering the grounds, so try to avoid bringing too many unnecessary items with you. A small bag for essential personal belongings will be more than enough.
2. Take public transport
There will be road closures and only a limited number of car park lots, so come via public transport. More details on road closures and the type of public transport you can take will be made available in the lead-up to the show, so check back soon.
3. Be prepared to queue
Good things come to those who wait, so be prepared to join the queues for special stimulation rides, rare opportunities to step into the cockpits of the newest planes or exclusive photographs next to interactive displays and special aircrafts.
4. It pays to plan ahead
With so much to see and do, it is easy to miss something out! To prevent that, check performance schedules and study the site map to locate essential exhibitors and displays, before making your way down to the Airshow. And remember to factor in possible delays while travelling and when going through security.
